It is important that you download the correct boot disk for your machine depending on which operating system came installed on your computer—the FDISK partioning utility included on the boot disk is backwards compatible, but it will not work with newer operating systems.

These boot disks provide an option to auto-load CD-ROM drivers to access the CD-ROM from DOS for the purpose of reinstalling Windows.

During operating system installation, drivers are loaded for CD-ROM, DVD, and CDRW drives. To obtain the DVD's movie-watching and the CDRW's writing functionality, you will be required to install additional software.
